Second Step: Buying a Hosting Plan & Domain Name

Already have a website? Great! You probably already have hosting and a domain name. All I need is your account info: user name and password, and I can get started setting up your new and improved website.

Don’t have hosting or a domain name? No problem. I will walk you through the process of choosing a provider based on your needs. Hosting usually costs around $10 -$20 per month, and I am always watching for deals from the most reliable companies like Web Hosting Hub, Dreamhost, and Hostgator. All you need to do is pay the yearly fee for your domain name and hosting directly to those companies—you will own these yourself, even if you eventually decide to go with another template or another website set-up company.

Third Step: Setting Up the Site & Inserting Content

Once I have your hosting and domain information, I can get started setting up your website and inserting your content. You can provide me with your content (text, photos, videos, etc.) via email, or I can come pick it up in person.

I also offer content creation services for an additional, low hourly fee. If you decide to use my content creation services, I can create unique text, photos, videos, and graphic design elements for your website based on your needs.

Fourth Step: Continue Growing Your Website

After the first 7 pages are set-up, there are three ways to go about adding more pages and content to your site.

First, I provide a free set of video tutorials showing you how to use WordPress’s no-code editing software. The tutorials will show you how to control every aspect of your new website, so you can make changes whenever you need to without setting up a meeting or spending more money.

Second, you can hire me for a set amount each week or month to continue creating and adding content for you! I also offer social networking services that will help increase the amount of traffic your website receives, and I will monitor your online presence and make weekly reports back to you.

Third, if you don’t think your website will need to be updated on a regular basis, you can hire me for those few-and-far-between changes at my set hourly rate. Just let me know what you need updated, and I will give you a quote and begin working as soon as you decide.
